I just moved over to CBSSPORTS from Fox as their site is being blocked at my work now.  Too busy to messa round at home...but a nice way to spend some time at work...LOL.   Dallas Cowboys still in denail about Tony Romo, thanks to Jerry Jones!  Txas Rangers bounce back nicely in game against the Tampa Bay Rays!  On to Tropicana Field where I expect about 18,000 fans seeing as how the Buccaneers play on MNF tonight!...Let's go Rangers!!!

This is for everyone's information. I recently wrote to the CBSSports.com Help section and SURPRISE, they wrote back! Here is that conversation.

When I first signed up to cbssports.com, the instructions for "Reputation's Four Factors" said, and still says in the section called, "Ways to improve your Overall Reputation Rating": to "Play casual games". It also says that "Not participating in other community activities such as gaming, fantasy and contests." will hurt your reputation. I remember seeing a Casual Games box, a year or two ago. This area of Casual Games is not on any of my CBSSports.com pages. Did CBSSports.com get rid of it? Or, Did CBSsports.com move it?

Judycide,

You're very observant. The casual games have been eliminated from the site and that area of the moderation guidelines needs to be revised. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. Another section that should be removed is the reference to "Skills." Skills, which once included fantasy play, no longer have an impact on a user's overall reputation.

Sorry, I haven't posted this sooner, but I thought everyone knew about these facts. So, no more "Casual Games" and no more "Skills" are needed.

You can only FAVORITE 150 people within all of the MESSAGE THREADS which helps immensely!!!!! It seems that you have to keep POSTING also. That looks like it could last forever... or until CBSSPORTS gets wise. And, RATE, RATE, RATE!!!!! there's always someone POSTING something somewhere. I don't think they will be setting any more restrictions because we're doing what they wanted us to do. Were being social and expressing ourselves!!!!! Cool

J,

Now this is all starting to make sense.  It appears we've all been in the same AS midd world trying to move up.  I joined two other threads and thing kind of changed over night which I found interesting.  All in all, I like to post here but the job keeps me off here most nights.  Anyway, Thanks for the hints and help.

Up until 5 hours ago NOTHING was working for me except to "Reply to Comment". So after nearly a year, cbssports.com has fixed the "bug" for me and it seems that nearly EVERYTHING is now working for me! Although, there are a lot of "GROUP'S" that still only have one member. What's the deal with that? I have joined 4 GROUPS so far. And in a little while I will continue to give EVERYONE 5 STARS and FAVORITE them! And maybe join more GROUPS!

Hi ! I don’t know what getting 5ed means, and I don't know what I'm supposed to do exactly to get 5ed, but, I Favorited you. And I think I am “Posting” this question/comment to you.

I have been a member of cbssports.com since 2009 and I have yet to see an "Add Group" button, or an "Add Five" button. I have written to the cbssports.com Help page about the lack of the “Add Group” button with them saying that I must have found a bug that they will look into.

I have been languishing in the Amateur area on my Profile page until yesterday when I finally wrote on 's page. I have literally overnight gone from an Amateur with 9 points to a Rookie with 41 points! Woo Hoo! Cool But, I really don’t know why this has happened. And, I don’t even know how I got those points. As you probably know, there are no real instructions to being a Fantasy Football member. You’re just supposed to know how to do everything. Well, I feel like a “Newbie” everyday that I look at my pages in my Profile area. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Just to let you know, I am going to send this same message to everyone that I can!

Chiefs / Cowboys...a coin toss if there ever was one!!! Prediction-The Chiefs win a close one as Larry Johnson goes ballistic and punches in a couple. I see it happenin'.
